It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

I have so much to be grateful for this year!! I usually LOVE Christmas, this year I found it hard to get the motivation to put out decorations etc. I told Scott that we should just skip it because we're going to spend Christmas in California. Scott was not having it! He put up the tree, decorated it and put out our beautiful snowy village while I watched from the couch. He is so good to me. I'm so glad he did and now that I finished school for the semester I'm ready to be in the Christmas spirit!I'm so grateful that we get to spend Christmas with my family. I am so grateful for my amazing friends. I am so grateful for the little baby girl in my belly. I have SO MUCH to be grateful for. Love you all! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Pregnancy Update

The past 17 weeks have been a little rough for me. I have been so sick and still haven't gained back the weight I lost. I have to say though, I am feeling a million times better! I have so much energy and can actually eat almost normally. I still get very car sick, but I've learned to either drive or recline my seat to a laying position. I was able to finish up the semester somehow, I don't know how I did it! I'll be glad just to pass my classes this semester. I'm really excited to be past all the sickness and hopefully I can start enjoying pregnancy now.

A Very Bunco Christmas

I love these gals! They are so fun! I have been honored to be in this Bunco group since February. It has been so awesome getting to know each of the girls. We had our Christmas at P.F. Changs and it was delicious. Thanks for a fun year and many more to come! Merry Christmas Girls!

It's a baby....

GIRL!!

We are thrilled! The Doctor said he was 200% sure, but we'll see! We are having another ultra sound the 1st week of January so hopefully we'll still be having a girl then! It was so amazing to see our little girl moving and her little heart beating. I've never seen a sweeter sight! She's a stubborn little thing though, we had to shake her to get her to move! It was truly amazing though, we can't wait to meet this little sweet pea!

Pregnancy Kicked my Trash!

So, the past 7 weeks have been the hardest for me. I always knew that people got 'morning sickness' but I always thought it wouldn't be that bad. Boy was I wrong! I have never felt that terrible before in my life. And why do they say morning? My sickness was 24 hrs a day! I really felt like it hit me hard and I wasn't prepared for it. I normally LOVE food. To go from loving it to hating it was so hard for me!! I barely could eat at all and when I did eat it was something random like pickels, pineapple, strawberries of mexican food (I know, weird). I just kept thinking, how do people keep on doing this? I have lost 10 lbs since finding out I'm pregnant and I am looking forward to getting past all this sickness and eating everything in sight!! The good news is I'm feeling great now! I'm almost 13 weeks so it was right on schedule. Now, I feel like I can eat more of a variety of foods, my appetite still isn't where it used to be, but it's a million times better! I really have to thank my AMAZING husband and WONDERFUL friends who have kept me sane during this hard time for me. I am truly blessed with people in my life who support me and take care of me =) I'm finding out what I'm having on Nov. 30th. I'm super excited and will keep everyone posted!

THIS baby

She has my whole heart. This baby, my niece Addy, is the cutest, sweetest little baby ever. I just got back from North Carolina seeing Addy, Jess, Aaron, Scott and Meaghan. It was amazing to see these people that I love so much. It was so amazing to feed Addy, change her,bathe her, stay up with her, love her and see what great parents Jess and Aaron are. I miss them already. When I got off the plane I felt terribly let down, I loved spending that time just hanging with Jess and the baby. I wish I could see them all the time. It hurts my heart that I can't be near them. But, I will see them all at Christmas, thankfully! I don't know if I can wait that long. Thank you everyone for a truly amazing time in North Carolina. (Thank you also to my wonderful husband for always understanding me wanting to see my family all the time..love you babe.)

My SWEET husband

He goes above and beyond the call of duty. Somehow I always manage to trash my car, I mean trash it!! I try to keep it clean, but it so hard for me. He cleaned it while I was in North Carolina, inside and out. It is SPOTLESS! I'm going to try so hard to keep it clean so my wonderful husband doesn't always have to do it. THANK YOU SWEETIE!

I'm an Auntie again!

Anyone who knows me, knows that being an Auntie is pretty much the best thing in the world to me! Well, I'm an Auntie again! My baby sister had a baby! She did amazing pushing this little nugget out and I'm so happy for her and Aaron! I can't wait to go out to North Carolina next week to see this little ladybug!!

Welcome Olivia!!

Look at this beautiful baby girl! Kristen had her baby on Sept. 17th at 10:03. She weighed 7lb 1 oz and was 19 inches long. I am so happy for Kristen and Brandon! Their new baby girl is so perfect!! Kristen was such a champ and didn't have an epidural, she is such a star! Can't wait to see this baby grow up! Love you guys!

Tennessee

We went to Tennessee last week for a funeral. It also gave Scott an opportunity to show me where he grew up and to see people he hasn't seen in so long. Despite going to the funeral and experiencing the sadness of that, we had a great time. We went to Opryland and also got to see Steve, Leslie and their baby Hailey. That was probably the best part of the trip because we hadn't seen them since last Christmas. It was so fun to to have Scott show me around and also to have a new experience in a place I've never been.

Olivia's Almost Here!! <3

I got to have a shower for my awesome friend Kristen on Aug.20th. Everything turned out really cute and we had a great turn out. She got so many cute things! My good friends Britney and Alicia helped me with the food & my other great friend Marye helped me with almost everything! Thanks guys! She is supposed to have little Liv in two weeks, can't wait to meet her!! Kristen has been such a good friend to me and I know she will be an amazing mother!! Love you Kristen!!

3 Years!!!

Scott & I just celebrated our 3 year Anniversary on the 25th! I am so grateful to be married to such an amazing person! I feel like we've come a long way & it makes me so proud that we are both going to graduate soon & we have our own home.It is so amazing to me that I have a wonderful husband to share my life with! Thanks baby for everything you do for me and for making me a truly better person. I LOVE YOU <3

Vegas BABY

A couple of weeks ago I got to go to Vegas for a girls weekend with my Bunco group, it was such a blast! We went shopping, out to dinner, to the strip and saw a hypnotist show. Laura got hypnotized and it was amazing! She was such a class act! We also went swimming and layed out a lot which was so nice & relaxing. Thanks for everything girls! Thanks Mallory for planning it and Courtney for the house!!

New York!

For Scott & I's 3 year anniversary we were able to take a trip to New York, it was so fun! Our hotel was right in Times Square which was nice because there was so much to do. We visited Times Square, Central Park, World Trade Center, Chinatown and saw 'Chicago' on Broadway. It was so nice to spend some alone time with my sweetie! We were also able to stop in North Carolina on the way back and got to see my brother, sister-in-law, sister and her boyfriend. I love those guys!

Nowhere Like Home

Two weeks ago I was able to go home! Scott had to work so he stayed behind & got to spend the weekend with his parents. I was so glad to be able to visit my family, but I did miss Scott a lot! My family reunited to see my beautiful pregnant sister, Jess, and meet her boyfriend Aaron (formerly known as 'baby daddy'). My best friend Steph also came too! It was SO AMAZING to have all the people I love & cherish surrounding me. It is so hard living away from my family, sometimes I cannot stand it. I'm just glad that we all make an effort to see each-other & can plan fun vacations like this one.
