Redesigned Downstairs

This is how our downstairs used to look....Check out this site to see what is looks like now: http://www.charlyreedesign.com/ My wonderful friend, Kristen, has an interior design business & I enlisted her help to redecorate my downstairs. When we bought our house we kind of shuffled around the decorations we had from our apartment. I didn't buy too many things especially to fit my house. With Kristen's help, I was able to use lots of my old decor as well as some new, to add tons of color and update the look of our home. All of my decor was from like 5 year ago and my style has changed so much! I absolutely LOVE how my downstairs looks! I feel like it is totally a reflection of my style & personality. Scott likes it too...lol. Kristen is seriously amazing so if your home needs some updating....she'd love to help you!

Idaho Falls

We took the kids for a little vacation to Idaho Falls. It was so much fun. The highlights were going to the zoo & Yellowstone Bear World. At Bear World they have a petting zoo, rides & you can drive through a park with bears just walking around. We actually had to nudge a bear with our car because he wouldn't move! (the worker told us to). We also got to ride on a big open air truck & feed the bears bread & donuts. We loved spending this time with Lucy & seeing her love this place. She is such an animal lover, just like her mom, so she loved Bear World as much as I did! Our hotel was right on the snake river so one day after breakfast we took a nice long walk. We brought some bread to feed the geese, there were so many. I actually got totally freaked out because they started crowding us. I didn't know what to do so I threw down my bread & ran away! Scott thought it was hilarious, but I was genuinely terrified. Eli was such a good baby & so laid back. He just was a long for the ride. Another highlight was we got to see our friends, Clint & Brooke & their new baby, Cannon. We had so much fun on this trip, we definitely want to go back next year.

Vegas Weekend

We were able to spend a weekend in Vegas when we brought my niece back to my sister a few months ago. The highlight of our weekend was vising the dolphin and lion habitat at the Mirage. It was so awesome! We sat right at the edge of the pool and Lucy was able to see the dolphins up close. It was a really fun weekend of swimming, relaxing & exploring!
