Memorial Day BBQ

On Memorial Day, Scott & I went to a BBQ with our friends. Delicious food + my best friends + a pinata = priceless

My cat is hilarious

I LOVE this picture! My cat is so funny, she hides behind the curtains when she gets scared and she thinks she's doing a great job at it. Everyday when I sit at my computer to study my cat drives me insane by jumping on my lap and rubbing against my leg until I get so mad and smack her and then she retires to the printer for a nap.

Fun Times Babysitting

Last weekend Scott & I got to babysit my good friend Natalie's two adorable kids, Hallie & Luke. We took them to a petting zoo and it was so dang fun. Those kids are so easy-going and fun to be with!

5K or Bust

Yesterday I attempted to run a 5K! It was a race for the Association for Deaf Children, so it was definitely a great cause. Kendra did it with me & I knew she would run circles around me because she is an awesome runner! She came in 4th place for the women, she is amazing! I didn't do very well, I'm just glad I made it to the finish line!! After the race the officials realized they had messed up on the distance of the course and it was more like a 4 mile race. All & all it was a great experience & hopefully I can train a little more before my next race so I can maybe keep up with Kendra (yeah right!!)

Moab

This past weekend we went to Moab with Scotts family. It was really fun and we definitely got good & dirty. The weather was actually pretty nice & its a good change to rough it for a few days. But, it was really nice to get back to our warm, comfy bed!

Girls for Life Reunited Minus 1

Katie & Jared blessed baby Owen two Sundays ago. Kendra, Katie & I were there of course because we all live here. Additionally, Shannon was up here visiting from Germany & it was so nice to have us together (minus Becka, we miss you & love you!!) it was like we had never been apart. I love these girls so much, I have a blast when I'm with them. I'm surprised we actually got a decent picture together because someone was always screwing it up with bunny ears & other shenanigans.

Best Surprise Ever!

So, two weekends ago I got the biggest surprise of my life! My family came & saw us! It was so awesome! We had a blast exploring lots of cool places. My house has never been so full! It was the first time they had seen my house & they helped me plant flowers and a tree. My dad also painted our garage for us, Thanks Dad!! It was the absolute best surprise! Thanks guys for coming all the way up here to see us, I love you!! (p.s. when are you coming back!!??)
