Two bellys are better than One!

Today, was Kendra's baby shower. Kendra and I met during College in California & have been friends ever since. Our husbands have become really good friends (which is awesome for us) & had a 'man date' at Tucanos during the shower. Everything turned out really cute, we had a delicious egg casserole (Thanks Katie!) and crepes. We played a fun game and had a candy bar with little bottles as favors for the guests to fill up. Kendra was absolutely glowing!! It has been so fun being pregnant with her. She is due exactly two months before me & I can't wait to meet her little Porter! I feel like this week my belly popped! She's been kicking like crazy & I love it!!




24 Weeks

Bring on the Belly!

I'm still feeling great! I feel like I have so much energy, which is awesome. I'm not sleeping great, but I think that just comes with being pregnant. I feel her kick all the time, it is so amazing. It is crazy to think I have a little person inside my belly. I've been working on my nursery, it's coming along, slowly but surely. We have the crib up, I ordered the changing table and I'm in the middle of sewing the crib bedding. I'm hoping to have it all done pretty soon. I can't wait to be a Mom, I'm so excited!!

23 Weeks

It's a Lucy

We had our 2nd ultra-sound today. It was so awesome, it's still a girl so we're happy about that! She was so big compared to last time, shes 10 ounces. she was all curled up with her hands on her face. Her head was down and her legs up, it was like she was trying to do a somersault. I told Scott she's already flexible, a natural born dancer just like her Mom! Scott said he was going to get her a fuzzy basketball when she is born and she can decide what she likes better! I guess we'll see! They said that she was about 7 days smaller than my due date but there keeping my due date May 23rd. I'm so excited to be a Mom and to meet this little Sweetie!

20 Week Update

It's week 20 and I'm feeling great! It is finally fun to be pregnant! I'm not really sick anymore, but I am incredibly tired. I way rather be tired though than sick. My belly is starting to pop a little more and it is getting harder to sleep comfortably. I also have to use the restroom like 20 times a day, it is so obnoxious!I felt her kick about 3 weeks ago for the first time & Scott got to feel her too. Then, I didn't really feel her for a couple of weeks. Then, like 5 days ago she started kicking like crazy! I had my hand on my belly and she literally kicked it, it was SOO awesome! I can't wait to meet this little girl and I keep wondering what she's going to look like. I'm having my 2nd ultra sound on Tuesday so I'll post some pictures then.

19 Weeks

Christmas in California

We were able to spend Christmas with my family in California and it was so fun! We got to take Baylee to Disneys California Adventure (Thanks Seth!!) and it was a blast! We especially loved the new Toy Story ride, it was awesome! We got to see ALL of my siblings (such a special thing!), my parents and my extended family in Northern California. We had such a good time and I miss everyone already!
