Living Planet Aquarium

The holidays have been great! Scott has had a lot of time off work and we've been able to go do some fun stuff. Last week we went to the aquarium with Addy and Grammy (didn't get any pictures of her for some reason!). Lucy loved all of the exhibits and was running around like a wild woman. Addy was less thrilled, she was a little frightened and apprehensive. Lucy loves having her Grammy and Addy around, when they leave she has a total melt down. She loves her cousin and says 'Addy' frequently. She also ADORES her Grammy. The other day I had Addy and Lucy in the car with me and we were going to meet Grammy for dinner and the whole way there they went back and forth saying "my Grammy", "no, my Grammy". These girls are a hoot together and we are so lucky to have them nearby!

If you are wondering why Lucy frequently wears that odd expression, it is the classic 'Collins cheeser'. When we say 'cheese' she tilts her head up and gives her best cheese face. She just kills me!

Thanksgiving in Colorado

We were able to spend Thanksgiving in Colorado and it was so much fun! It was so relaxing and Lucy loved playing with her cousins. Lucy loved man handling all of the toys and roaming around from upstairs to downstairs. It was so great to see Scott's family, especially Steve, Leslie and Haley, who we don't get to see very much. It was also a nice break because Grandma would watch Lucy for us while we went shopping and to the movies. Thank you Terry and Betty for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Even Numbers are Better

You may have noticed that my blogging has been somewhat...lackluster lately. It is because I have a little body inside of my taking everything out of me! We are expecting baby #2 next May, one day before Lucy's birthday. I am 16 weeks and it is nice to be out of the first trimester, although I'm as exhausted as ever. I don't remember being this exhausted with Lucy, but I didn't have a little Lucy to take care of then I guess. We are so grateful that Lucy is going to have a little.......
BROTHER!! I had an ultrasound at 14 weeks and it was pretty clear it was a little boy, but I will be glad to confirm it at our 20 week ultrasound. I was so surprised to see a little boy on the screen, I think I naturally assumed it would be a girl. But, I am thrilled nonetheless and I know Scott is EXCITED for his little boy to arrive. Lucy has been enthralled with babies lately and I know she will be a wonderful big sister! We are so blessed to be expanding our family and we can't wait for our little man to arrive!
