Almost 37 weeks and....

My Doctor checked me today and I'm:

1.5 cm dilated
80% effaced

It looks like my cervix is favorable after all!

I know it doesn't really mean anything, I could still go the full 40 weeks..but we'll see! I'll keep you posted!

Scott's Graduation

My wonderful husband graduated this past December from BYU, he participated in the ceremony last Friday. I am extremely proud of him and his accomplishments. He is the most dedicated, hard-working and amazing person I know. It was so fun spending the day with the Collins Family and we had a Fiesta at our house in the evening. I LOVE YOU babe, I'm SO PROUD of you!!

My Baby Shower

Thank you to everyone who came to my shower, it was so fun!! I recieved so many beautiful gifts, Lucy will be a blessed little girl. MARYE, KENDRA & KRISTEN did a wonderful job planning it. The decorations were so cute and the food was delicious. Thank you my friends, I truly love and appreciate you.

Car Seat Cover

Marye helped me make this snazzy car seat cover. I'm so proud of it! My car seat is black/gray/red and I thought it would be hard to find some cute material, but I think I scored. Marye had to be so patient with me because my brain is so fried from school and just being pregnant! She thought it out and told me what to do. Thanks Marye, you're so crafty!

Announcing the Arrival of Porter!

This little baby is adorable, he arrived Saturday morning. He has lots of dark hair and even a mohawk! I believe he was 8 lbs 7 oz and 19.5 inches long. We are so grateful for Kendra & Caleb's friendship and we look forward to seeing this little guy grow up!

Happy Easter!!

Scott & I had a super fun Easter. We got to spend the whole weekend together and it was awesome. I am so grateful for the gospel and for my Savior. I would have nothing without the gospel and I am so thankful for all the amazing things it has brought me. I am also grateful for my wonderful family, friends and husband. My life is truly blessed.

33 Weeks


I love you babe!

California Trip

Two weeks ago I was able to go to California to see my family. I had an amazing trip!! First of all, my family gave me a wonderful baby shower & it was so nice to see all of my family. Jess & Lei did an especially great job planning everything and making sure it was perfect, Thanks guys!! Also, my best friend, Steph, since my sophomore year of high school surprised me and came! It was the icing on the cake! While I was there, we also had Addy's baby blessing. It was truly a beautiful day. My Dad was able to bless her and that was really special. I love that little sweet baby, my Dad is so lucky to have Jess & Addy there with him. I really love living in Utah, but I do miss my family so much. It was so wonderful to spend a whole seven days in California just being with my family and having fun. I can't wait to go back this summer after I have little Lucy.
