Lucy is 15 Months Old!

This little girl keeps us running! She is a ball of energy and a sassy little thing. She has started talking up a storm lately. She says Daddy, kitty cat, doggy, Daisy, all done, more, please, uh-oh, I love you, Mommy, that, ta-da and a bunch of jibberish. She just started saying 'I love you' and it is the best thing ever! She is so sweet and snuggly, but she will also slap you right in the face if you let her! Her 15 month stats were 8% weight, 90% height and 0% head, she is still tall and thin with a small head. The Doctor keeps telling us that it is okay for her to have a small head and that it won't affect her brain, so that is good. Her favorite food is fruit, especially grapes. We had to lessen the amount we give her because her poor little bottom gets a rash from the acidity in the fruit. She loves hot dogs, cucumbers, olives and yogurt. She can now eat her yogurt with a spoon, she is growing up too fast. She loves to play with any toy that has a string. She also loves to read books, she will go get a book and sit in anyones lap who is near to read to her. She is very girly and likes her jewelry and stuffed animals. Everyday is a new adventure with this little girl and we love her to pieces!

After her 15 month shots, it was so sad!

Family Date Night

We were able to have a really fun night out with our friends and neighbors the Rockwoods. We went out to dinner and let the girls bounce their little hearts out at a local jumpy place. Livie and Lucy were so adorable and they absolutely loved it! We are so blessed to live near such good friends!

Lucy's 1st Camping Trip

Lucy went on her first overnight camping trip this past weekend. Our friends and neigbors, the Bahrs, invited us and we had so much fun. We roasted hot dogs and s'mores and talked around the campfire. Lucy got pretty dang dirty, between the cheetos and dirt her clothes didn't stand a chance! We had a huge tent and put Lucy's pack and play inside. It took her a little time, but she finally fell asleep. She slept most of the night in her crib, but finished it out sleeping between us. In the morning she was so excited to be with mommy and daddy and she had a fun time jumping on us to wake us up. We had such a blast on Lucy's 1st camping experience!

Deb's Graduation & Lucy's 1st Haircut

Lucy's hair was getting down right shaggy, we finally gave in and got her a haircut. We took her to 'Cookie Cutters' and she loved the slide they had there as well as the airplane she got to sit in. She did so good, she sat very still and did not throw a fit. I was so proud of my girl! Her haircut was the same day as Deborah's graduation from BYU. We figured she should look decent for such an occassion! We are so proud of Deb! I thought I lost my camera and I didn't have it so all of these pictures are from my iphone as well as some I stole from Deb's blog!

For my mom's birthday, Jess and I took her to the Josh Groban concert. We had SO much fun! It was so nice to be together and not have to worry about the babies. I love spending time with these gals and I'm so grateful to have them nearby. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful mom and Lucy just adores her Grammy. The Hogle Zoo

With my Mom, sister and Addy nearby now we are able to have some fun outings, like the Hogle Zoo. It was a VERY hot day, but we were still able to have a fun time. The girls LOVED seeing the animals and it was so cute seeing them have so much fun. Lucy also loved the carousel, she would get really excited and kick her legs like a mad woman. I got so many cute pictures of Jess and Addy, they were such hams! I'm so grateful that my family is nearby and we can see each other often and do fun stuff like this!
