Ugly Sweater Party

Our friends, The Rockwoods, put on a Ugly Sweater Christmas party and it was a blast! We had so much fun! My sweater had a cat with a Santa hat on and said "Got Gifts?". It was perfect for me because I love cats AND gifts! The sweater was awesome despite the fact it made me look chubby. I got Scott's sweater at DI and he said it wasn't ugly and he was going to wear it to other Christmas party's... I don't think so!! Scott and Joe N. (they are both from Tennessee, such a weird and awesome coincidence that Joe and Brittany are in our ward!)

Christmas Card Spoiler Alert!!!

I love Christmas! It's going to be a little more stressful this year, but I'm still glad it's here. Of course we had to get like the hugest tree ever(notice how it touches our ceiling). Scott was really set on having a real tree, and a real big one. I also put my snowy village up, it is a little sad but I still love it! So, everyone knows we love our cats. Two years ago we had them in our Christmas cards, but last year they did not cooperate. We are bringing them in for this year. Below are a few sample images. Daisy loves her Santa outfit, yeah right. I'll just say she didn't flip out when I put it on her so that is a big step.

Cruise!

The cruise was so awesome! We got to spend time with my family and eat as much as we wanted! Our cruise visited Catalina Island and Enseneda, Mexico. In Catalina we rented a golf cart and took turns driving around, which was really fun. In Mexico we went horseback riding on the beach which was amazing. Altogether, it was a very relaxing and restful vacation!

Ca Trip Cont'd

While Scott and I were in Ca I got to catch up with some friends. I got to see Becka who is my old roommate and I love her! I also got to see my best friend Steph, it is crazy to think we've been friends for 10 years!!!

California Trip

On our trip to California we were able to spend time with my family, including my niece and nephew. These two kids are amazing. I love them so much, they have a big place in my heart! My Mom, Scott and I took them to Irvine Park to ride the train and see the zoo. It was so much fun. Scott is so good with kids and my nephew instantly warmed up to him. My niece is another story, she has been less friendly with Scott over the past two years. This trip was different, she finally warmed up to him! (presents were involved of course!)

Our House

Here are some pictures of the house. It has been really fun decorating it. Thankfully, my good friend Kristen has been here to help me! The cats love the new house, they have so much fun running up and down the stairs!

Here is a picture of our new house. I still can't believe we actually bought it! I looked at this house 5 months ago and loved it. Scott wasn't really sold on buying a house at that time, but a few months later he softened up to the idea. After looking at so many houses and constantly being disappointed I showed Scott this one. He loved it and we knew it was the one. It is so nice to finally be moved in and somewhat unpacked. I look forward to many years in this house and lots of good memories!
