Lucy and Eli were both born in May, their birthdays are 9 days apart. When Lucy turned 4, we had a big party for her with a bouncy house and all her friends. She is so social and loves to be the center of attention. She had a huge stack of present that she unwrapped with joy. She got all the typical girly stuff that she loves! We gave Lucy & Eli a joint present, a playhouse for the backyard. They loved it so much and it gets played with constantly to this day. For Eli's birthday, we kept it very low key with just close family over for a party. He got lots of boy toys, like monster trucks & army men figurines.

At 4 years old, Lucy is as precocious as ever. She has lots of friends and can make a friend pretty much wherever she goes. She loves playing dress up and lives in her princess costumes. She loves getting into mischief and marches to the beat of her own drum. She has become a better eater, but prefers a more healthy diet...fruit is still her most favorite. She is extremely stubborn and strong willed, but has a very soft side too. She is a natural born mother and is very nurturing. She loves to snuggle with us and is such a good big sister to Eli. She will do anything for him and doesn't want to disappoint him. She also uses Eli to do her bidding in classic Lucy style. Lucy keeps us on our toes, I'm afraid she always will, but we love the adventure this little girl brings to our life. She is my best friend and little mini and we just love her to pieces.

At 2 years old, Eli is so different than Lucy. He is thoughtful and very reserved. He is adventurous, but more shy and timid. He does not go to very many people. He is a daddy's boy to the extreme and asks about him constantly during the day. Eli and his daddy share a special bond that is the most special thing to watch. He has delayed speech and has been working with a speech therapist. He is beginning to talk more, but has a very limited amount of words he says. He is able to get basically what he wants through baby signs and the few words he says. He started waving and being a tad more social when he turned two. He is still a pretty good eater, he basically loves all food. Eli is such a good sleeper, he sleeps 12 hours at night and takes a 3-4 hour nap during the day. He sleeps happily in his crib and still really loves his binkie. We are working on just letting him have his binkie when he is sleeping. Eli is our little lover. He loves snuggling and when you hold him, he puts his head on your shoulder and it is simply heaven. His laugh is incredible and will melt your heart. Eli is sensitive, sweet, mischievous and we just adore his little spirit so much.
We feel so lucky to be Eli and Lucy's parents, it is an adventure everyday and we are truly blessed.
