That Just Happened...

I think I might be dreaming, but I was able to go on TWO girls trips this summer! Spending glorious time in Park City & St. George was beyond fun. We ate peaceful meals out (imagine!), went shopping, danced our little hearts out and relished in our kid-free mommy time. I feel extremely blessed that I have such funny, beautiful and AMAZING friends!

4th of July

I LOVE 4th of July in our neighborhood. We all get together at the end of our cove, have a BBQ and light a ton of fireworks. I couldn't ask for better family, friends & neighbors.

The Start of Summer

Our summer was crazy busy.  A few months before summer started, I decided to open a preschool in our basement, but we had to finish it first. So, we spent practically every spare second this summer working on the basement. I didn't anticipate how MUCH work it was going to be, I think my husband did and I'm so impressed with how hard he worked. We did everything ourselves: framing, wiring, insulation, sheet rock, mudding and painting. It was SO much work. We did have some help from friends & family {so grateful}. I will post later with before and after pictures. Anyways, we managed to sneak in a little fun this summer and this is the first half of all of the fun stuff we did.

This was moments before Lucy went streaking through the fountains!

Is she not the cutest thing ever?!

Eli was NOT thrilled about meeting Cosmo

Love this lady!

These girls are trouble!

He was stoked when he found this!

This was Eli's 1st outing after he started walking. He was SO proud of himself.

I adore this pretty girl.

This boy has my heart.

Trip to Wisconsin

Back in June, Eli & I were able to go to Wisconsin for my cousins wedding. We had such a good time. Grandma Lei & Papa went with us, which was such a big help. We were able to see Kristen & Reid get married and visit with lots of my dads family. I was so glad to have help on the plane, because Eli is a very busy guy! He was such a good baby though. He slept very well in his car seat and was mostly flexible about his schedule, which I appreciated! Eli really took to his Papa, he just loved being held by him. The wedding was beautiful and it was amazing to catch up with my extended family.

Lucy & Daddy had a fun time while we were gone, but we sure missed being together!

Right after we left for Wisconsin, Jessica's water broke. The doctors thought they may be able to prolong her delivery, but they weren't sure. Of course her water broke as soon as we all left for Wisconsin, the irony is crazy! We were so helpless being so far away and not being able to do anything. They gave Jessica steroids, but she delivered the babies 3 days later. It was extremely scary, but fortunately the babies are doing so well. They are truly miracle babies.
